“One thing I’ve been improving on, thanks to Julie Prichard, is learning how to walk away from a painting. I’m getting much better at doing one thing at a time and then coming back later in the day or the next day. I’ve also stopped using a hair dryer to quick dry and now take the time to really let the paint settle deep and hard onto the canvas. And now that it’s summer, the sun does a great job of baking that paint.”
“I really like how some of the marks look like they have been there a really long time and there is also some good texture that really come across in the photo. I think the blending seems to have come a long way but that’s been difficult for me. Overall, it’s pleasing to the eye I think.
