My first commissioned painting....for the bubble teacher.

How hilarious is this picture? She is SO happy that I painted her a mermaid to order...orange hair and a pink body..exactly what she wished for. I have to tell you, I was a little emotional making this and when I saw the look in her eye when I handed it to her..happy mommy moment for sure.

So where do I start? Amazing weekend...I really mean it. Excellent group of women....outdoors in the most beautiful weather...with amazing food, art and company...and energy...can I say amazing again? Amazing energy...

Every detail was covered...including Mara's chocolate fountain...holy smokes...delicious!

And get this..through the wonders of facebook...Becci and I find out that Kelly Snelling and Ruth Rae were in town taking a seperate class...Kelly says, "Did you meet my friend Kecia in your class?" Classes collide... and viola! We met up for sushi Sunday night. So check it out....there are four people sitting at that table who I had never met before this weekend...ahhh technology. Good times, Girls! Good times... (Kecia....shake that bottle.)

What a weekend.....loved every minute!!
