Things are tough for us.. Got an IT job opening?

First, if you are a long time supporter- THANK YOU. My small art business has allowed me to supplement our household income and support my daughter’s dreams of playing elite college tennis. She has 4 more years of training to go. On the level, things for us are pretty tough right now.

My husband was let go from his job of 22 years and we are on unemployment benefits. We don’t know what we are going to do. I am reducing the prices on a small collection of original paintings today, you can click here to take a look. These are pieces that I have had for a long time. Many of them are below 24” in size, so the shipping costs shouldn’t make you pass out.

I am working working working so hard in the online workshop group to make sure that everyone is happy! If you are enjoying your online workshops with me, can you please do me a favor and tell some of your friends about my services? Word of mouth is the best advertising, I love that it is free.

We’re studying and preparing for interviews. But they almost always follow with a “sorry” email. It’s discouraging, but we are trying to stay positive. If anyone has direct connections with people in IT, specifically IT Service Management, (Service Now), my husband is on linkedin and is a really really good employee. he lost his job due to economy related global layoffs.

I usually don’t get this personal on my blog or social media, I’ll return to our normal programming next post.
