All of my paintings are about food!

It’s funny…every time I finish a painting I sit it aside and think about what I should name it. Sometimes the names come to me easily and before the painting is totally complete. Sometimes, they take longer to name. For some reason, almost always, the first name into the running is a dessert- real or make believe. LOL What does that mean?

Maybe it has something to do with the colors. I love bright, colorful hues, and those are typically found in candy and like berry syrup. I also am a fan of that medium magenta, isn’t it luscious?

I think about food all the time. I don’t think I will ever not think of food when naming a painting, but I will change directions and try out some variety….. just for you. For this one though, there us no going back. Meet, “Fortunately for Raspberries”, new art for Fall, 2020.
