Welcome to the newest online workshop by multi-media artist Julie Prichard and Golden Working Artist Chris Cozen! We have grown so much since the introduction of the first Layer Love course three years ago, that we decided to re-write the course and make it bigger and better! Take a look:
The Layer Love v2.0 online workshop will feature instruction to make 8 paintings from start to finish plus 2 practice paintings which you can save or develop into beautiful paintings as well. Explore a variety of paint layering techniques to create sophisticated, multi-dimensional paintings. From super dirty and grungy to abstract, contemporary and layered, we've got you covered. This course is suitable for beginners and advanced students a like. Even if you have never picked up a paint brush before, we will make you comfortable with painting in layers! We offer high definition videos for each lesson plus a comprehensive full-color written handout that all students will be able to download. The course is hosted in a private social network (similar to Facebook) where you can post questions to Chris and Julie, share photos of your class work and receive feedback within 24 hours! A high speed internet connection is required.
