Barbie has a new accessory

I bought Kate a Barbie purse the other day that came with a cell phone, car key, wallet and compact. The purse was flimsy and whenever she sat it down, the contents spilled out. Afraid she would lose some of her new prized possessions, I made her a new tote.

Recycled velvet for the handles, clear vinyl protects the exterior and I whip stitched the pom pom fringe into place. Why hand stitch? Come on...you know... because I broke the needle sewing through the vinly and fabric sandwich! Haha. Someone remind me I need more needles....
