Just wanted to swing by and share this little painting with you:
“Oh, Dear” is a great little 8x8” gallery canvas..which means the sides are thick enough that you can either hang this one, or sit it on a shelf like I did here.. Painting this size used to be the main attraction when I started painting..now it seems like 30x30” art is my sweet spot.. Why do I mention that? Because this, my friends, is a great way to add an original piece of art to your collection for a little price. You can click here to purchase or see more.
I was trying to explain this to my 13 year old the other day: I’ve been painting since 2009 now (of course) and I’ve never felt more confident and free.. rare are the days when I can’t figure out what to do…rare are the days when I fight with the canvas.. I’m holding the brush the same, so to speak..so what is it? It’s a mind set…my way of thinking about art has changed.. can you accomplish this feeling without the years of struggle? I think so…everyone moves at their own pace… but I am SUPER excited about how I feel with my art… thank you so much for stopping by today! Hopefully one day I will feel as confident with my writing skills.
