HappY BiRthDay, Anna PH..I made you a coupon holder.

Regular reader and friend ranked in the top 5, Anna PH is celebrating her birthday today! In her honor, I made her a coupon holder. I feel like the 2nd grader who made his mother an "ash tray" in pottery class.. why a coupon holder? Why not?

I used this pattern I found online..and added julification including vintage seam binding in electric orange, fancy foof-a-la-buttons and lots of random, petal to the metal stitching. Oh..I also layered in a piece of innerfuse to make it a little easier to access. I am pretty proud of how it came out..and I know Anna PH will have some fun clutching it in the check-out line. Happy Birthday, APH!

What a whirlwind last couple of weeks! The cushion, costume, ofrenda, special wedding present, coupon holder..I am beat! Not to mention the amazing Dia de Bloglandia event over the weekend.. I'm on a crafting hang-over! You have to check out the participants art and stories for the Bloglandia party...really moving and amazing...the best Bloglandia event ever!

I'm going to take a day off tomorrow and build up some big fat journal pages for the rest of the week. Thank you all so much for your support the last few days...I am blown away by your kindness! See you Wednesday!
